Camille Labonté is a compelling and versatile soprano based in Toronto, Canada. Equally at home in both traditional and contemporary repertoire, she is recognized for her musical sensitivity and captivating stage presence. One of Canada’s most promising emerging young artists, Camille won the Hatch Audience Choice Prize at the 2026 Canadian Opera Company Centre Stage Ensemble Studio Competition, and was a prize-winner of the 49th annual Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition in Voice. 

Camille’s Operatic credits include Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Cathleen (Riders to the Sea), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare), as well as Louise in the public workshop of Hector Parra’s Miroir de nos peines, commissioned by the Opéra National de Paris and performed at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Her concert repertoire includes soprano solos in Carmina Burana (Elmer Iseler Singers 2026, Stratford Summer Music Festival 2025), Messiah (York Chamber Ensemble) and Considering Matthew Shepard (Concreamus, 2023).
